Today on the 1st of June 2017, Tradisional Ip Man (TIM) Wing Chun is announcing the birth of Tradisional Ip Man Wing Chun International Association (TIMWC-IA), a nonprofit association that accommodate all TIM Wing Chun organisations in the world. TIMWC-IA is temporarily based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The growth of TIM Wing Chun in Indonesia and the increasing demand of overseas martial arts parctitioners to learn Ip Man wing chun from TIM Wing Chun instructors is the reason behind the founding idea of Tradisional Ip Man Wing Chun International Association.
The mission of TIMWC-IA is to learn and spread Ip Man Ving Tsun to anyone in the world without discriminating at social status, age, race, religions. With a clear source of Ip Man wing chun lineage and skills, and a systematic curriculum, TIMWC-IA is a modern wing chun association that still uphold traditional chinese martial arts value.
For all martial arts communities/schools/organisations who are genuinely interest to learn Ip Man wing chun, TIMWC-IA provides an opportunity to join International Wing Chun Journey Program. Through this program, representatives of TIMWC-IA will travel to your country for free seminar / training session*.
