Tradisional Ip Man Wing Chun (TIMWC) Indonesia gives thanks to God for the completion of 2014 National Wing Chun Training Camp held in Kaliurang, Yogyakarta, Indonesia on the 29th – 30th November 2014. TIMWC Indonesia would also like to thank the committee, all attendees, and any other related parties who have helped made this event successful.
‘We are proud’ is the best expression that we feel after this camp, as this camp is the first National Wing Chun Training Camp ever held in Indonesia. With a total of 168 attendees, this is also the biggest Wing Chun Training Camp ever held in the world.
“We are Family” is the theme in this year National Wing Chun Training Camp. We aimed to teach more than just techniques, forms, or philosophy of Wing Chun. We also aimed to teach the understanding that we are one family, despite of our differences in background, social status, race, or religion.
To conclude, Tradisional Ip Man Wing Chun Indonesia and the 2014 National Wing Chun Training Camp committee would like to apologise for our mistakes or shortcomings. It is our sincere wish that the future National Wing Chun Training Camp would be better, bigger, and can be joined by many more members.
