Tradisional Ip Man (TIM) Wing Chun Indonesia believes that every Ip Man wing chun practitioners must continuously seek to learn and enhance their wing chun technique, skills, and understandings. For us in Indonesia, it can be accomplished by going to Hongkong, the centre of Ip Man wing chun.
On 27 October to 1 November 2015, Sifu Martin Kusuma along with 2 students traveled to Hongkong to train with GM Ip Ching in Ving Tsun Athletic Association (VTAA). In this opportunity Sifu Martin also taught his student in Hongkong. There was a surprise for Sifu Martin on this trip: Sifu Martin received a signature from GM Ip Ching on GM Ip Ching newest book.
Sifu Martin periodically travels to Hongkong, three times a year to consistently train his wing chun skills.
